Post-Event Info for Portes
Mukuro now basically is … well …
You'll know what Path he's in. And he's no longer ever really "human".
Common to all paths, he does maintain the ability to keep up some small ambient things - so unless he's really power-wiped, he's going to have the ambient illusions masking his scars, as well as the "crutch" illusion right now keeping him able to function despite the fact that it'll be a few months of recovery time from the Vendicare and other injuries.
He's also now got a set of curved claws in all forms; they're more pronounced in some Paths than others, and usually somewhat ineffectual as weapons, but are a good, blatant "not human anymore" tell. In most cases he's still heterochromatic, and the red/right eye will still always show the kanji-mark of the path instead of a normal pupil.
He'll have more personality-bleed from each Path, and will register a LOT louder to sensitives and psychics as "not human", with more weighting towards whatever each Path is; instead of "Human with bleedover", it's now going to be "there's a human base but that's not human".
He also will be re-learning control over the path-changes, which means he can shift unpredictably in mid-thread depending on triggers and other factors!
Below are the physical changes and some of the powers notes/notes for Sensitives for each Path:
1) Path Of Hell - The claws are more pronounced, and he has fangs with a few other teeth sharper than usual; there's patchy black feathers and scales in places, while his eyes are both red and will glow slightly in the dark. Some of his bone structure and posture will look a bit "off"; it's subtle, but enough to not look right. His illusions will bleed into his surroundings without him trying; light and shadows around him will get sharper, things will occasionally distort, and there's more likely to be ambient environmental effects based on his mood. He won't have access to the mind control range of powers very well at all, but will have full use of his illusions at their more powerful extent, as much as he's still limited by his reserves and the usual caveats about how the illusions work.
To sensitives/psychics, he's going to ding a LOT further "Dark" aligned for people like the KH cast - almost completely such, and will read as a demon of some kind to people that can sense that kind of thing. Empaths or those akin to KH cast more aware of types of emotions feeding into would get being… not exactly vindictive but reflexively predatory and judging/weighing.
2) Path of Hungry Ghosts - Slightly more pale, with veins visible under his skin, and his teeth pretty much turned to fangs; his eyes will eyeshine/reflect light in the dark like an animal. The possession ability works here fully, and all permissions thereof apply; if he's successful, he has access to all of a victim's skills and powers - although, thanks to some trauma and innate "My body mine mine", he's still liable to be more cautious of it in case of something hijacking his body while he's out. Small warning that he'll be hungry constantly and inclined to eat anything that might be edible…with loose standards of "edible".
To sensitives/psychics, it'll be messy, it'll read as something somewhat subhuman and possibly a little hollow, and probably again pretty darkened for anyone that senses dark/light. Emotions will weight more towards hunger, thirst, greed, and survivalism.
3) Path of Beasts - More obvious canines, with the claws going somewhat retractable; black fur with faint darker spots in patches, and a black tail, as well as slit-pupil with animalistic eyeshine. Yes, it settled on a big cat, and psychics and the like will pick up on more animalistic/big predator than normal.
4) Path of Asura - Pale/white skin enough to be obviously not natural, with white streaks spreading in his hair, faintly glowing eyes with a visible indigo "flame" over the right eye; there'll be a few things off again in an "alien" sense more than anything else.
If you're empathic in any way, we apologize for his ego deciding it needs its own room. Ironically, in spite of a bit of a spike in some of his defensive violence, he'd register as more "Light" to people who read light/dark.
5) Path of Humans - You'd think this would be the normal one, but no, this is basically him in pure weapon state. Odd black almost circuitry-like markings/tattoos spread over most of his body, and the claws are noticeable and heavy and he has just-noticeable fangs, albeit not as pronounced as Hell or Beasts; his blue eye goes catslit and has animal-eyeshine. The red eye turns almost solid blood-red, with the 5 "marking" as a glowing white imprint.
For psychics/sensitives, this is what happens when a human being is made into a weapon; there's almost a sense of artificial restrictions imposed on his behavior and emotions, as well as a good dose of Frankenstein complex "treat something like a monster and that is what it will become", as well as a lot of abuse-damage and mistrust. He'd probably sense a little more dark, and he does feel more like a "weapon" or something artificial than a human being.
6) Path of Heaven - The big obvious shift is a faintly glowing indigo mist "flame" that forms a sort of aura that shifts by some conscious control and his mood; it is bright enough to be a dim light source, although it gives off no heat, and his eyes CAN glow, although it's not a permanent effect. The claws are present enough to be visible but are understated, and he's liable to register as a little ethereal even to non-sensitives.
For psychics/sensitives, a lot of the usual turmoil and violence calms out; it's there somewhere under it, but he'll register as some type of minor divinity overlaid on the human, and even radiate a bit of calm/comfort most of the time. Those that sense Dark/Light will read him as mostly Light, with the "Dark" he usually carries a bit buried under it, although there is the ego still there.
*PERMISSIONS NOTE:* I may be dinging you OOC during a thread with him in this state! The mind control/mind influencing powers are MUCH stronger; in some respects, he'll probably empathically broadcast some things, and will be more prone to things like weaving a mental nudge into something he says to make someone more inclined to agree/believe it/go along with it, or even more blatant bits of mind control, depending on circumstances and the person. On the upside, he's GENERALLY not going to be worse than "well meaning annoying" in this state, buuut it's still an issue of "are you okay with him doing this" where it's POSSIBLE for him to -NOT- do it if you're not comfortable. His illusions will also be gimped down to the lotus vines, things like will'o'wisp lights, and his usual minor ambient things, at least.
On a note unrelated to the Paths, Mukuro has opened communication with the spirit residing in the earrings - Daemon Spade, his First Generation counterpart. Thanks to the Castle, Spade is permanently shoved into the body of the Mist Owl box-weapon, which has been turned into a living snow owl.
He is basically stuck as the amazing talking owl with little in the way of special abilities besides a mental link to Mukuro. The guards periodically walk off with him and take him to the mews to feed him meat and fuss over him as if he were a normal bird.
