1. What does their bedroom look like? It's an abandoned, decaying movie theatre with rotting curtains. He sleeps on an old couch piled with pillows. THIS IS CANON - and apparently IS where he actually sleeps, since late in canon Tsuna catches him there at a weird hour of the night when poking people without warning. In Maison, it's a pile of blankets and pillows made into a nest in front of the fireplace in the Carpenter's Bedroom.
2. Do they have any daily rituals? Mukuro doesn't really keep a set schedule; when he's whole and not in a tank, he'll rattle around and go poking into things, but there's not much of anything that's "daily".
3. Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? Some of his exploring and rattling probably counts - a lot of walking, running, and climbing, with occasional bits of illusion-cheating to get on rooftops and other inaccessible places. Also something as much as he can manage of practice with the trident. He gets restless more often than people would probably expect.
4. What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? If it wasn't a train wreck, go do something else, maybe get something that didn't need much preparation. I mean, most of the food he keeps for himself is either scavenge/salvage stuff that doesn't take much or "whatever Ken killed this week", or fruit, which doesn't need much work.
5. Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) He's kind of fussy. Personally he keeps himself pretty clean and keeps himself and his clothes up; his living space doesn't have much to it, although where he keeps his things is apparently fairly neat and "He will know if you move something". Ofc, he has left some of the old rotting curtains and things for dramatic effect, soo... yeah.
6. Eating habits and sample daily menu He's used to eating pretty catch as catch can; not really a lot at any given time, and scheduled by "when there's time, quiet, vague safety, and food available". He has enough scavenger instinct that "menu" really depends on what's available; he prefers fruit and lighter food, but "scavenger instinct" goes far enough that his main objection to eating someone that attacked them is "We don't know where they've been/what diseases they have". (Yes, he's more likely to be idgy about PEOPLE having diseases they might catch after cooking than pigeons or rats.)
7. Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time Going out exploring, occasional pranks on some of the others, finding some shrine and sitting/meditating/thinking. He can do perfectly still and not doing anything, and even manages pretty good "just going to go find a nice spot and nap/exist", but enforced idleness bugs him. Also reading, where I'm pretty sure most of his books etc. are stolen.
8. Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging Uh. He really hasn't picked up a lot in this realm; there's a lot of things POSSIBLE that he just hasn't really thought about or had time/reason to pick up. He's not likely to ever be much for drinking, isn't going to have human standards about sex/that's a possibility but that's been something where he's been preoccupied and it's so low on his priorities to sort out and think about that it hasn't occurred to him; really occasional good food is about it that he's had, and that's as likely to be fruit and fish and fresh food as anything special.
10. Makeup? No interest, no care.
11. Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? Okay, granting that he basically functions under nonhuman psych: As of current events in Maison, he's actually doing WORLDS better about the whole "Path of Humans is part of me" thing; in canon, he kind of rejects Path of Humans as "this reflects how horrible humans are" rather than "...right, my human self was made to be a weapon and kind of reflects that". He's also got pretty nasty trust issues, go figure.
12. Intellectual pursuits? See above stolen books; he apparently taught himself Japanese when he was younger in Japan, and picked up studying Buddhism while he was there and on the run. (After all, he was already known as "Rokudou Mukuro" before he came to Japan.) Some things will get his interest more than others, but he tends to be a little information junkie, because damn near anything could be useful potentially.
13. Favorite book genre? I'm not sure he's really picked up much in the way of novels/fiction; pretty sure the closest he's come is old epics and some of the sagas and things that end up in folklore.
14. Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? Oh god. If you actually get him commenting, the main path he spends time in is PATH OF HEAVEN, and there's every indication it's NOT a higher-realm deva; I've usually hit headcanon from the lowest heaven/Khamadatu. So his heaviest influence besides "weapon" is a Deva of the Pleasure Realm, with lot of that usually shoved aside due to being preoccupied with silly things like "survival" and "attempted divine judgment/retribution".
He Does Not Get Silly Human Hangups and why it's such a huge deal for either "zomg this is the most important thing ever" OR "zomg this is dirty/unclean/to be avoided/must be carefully controlled/Not To Be Discussed", and he finds how SPAZZY people are about it kind of funny really. Sex is something enjoyable that can also end up reproduction and part of a close relationship! Most other things related are Silly Human Hangups, and his lack of interest is more trust issues, misanthropy, nature of current close relationships, and the aforementioned preoccupations than "He has problems/is avoiding it". He's entirely likely to end up sort of - I'm not even sure poly is the word for it, since he wouldn't really have a problem with some kind of occasional "friends with benefits", and as much as he can get really possessive, jealousy strikes him as one of those "silly human hangups and insecurities".
15. Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) (canon-point)His right eye is an implant that's probably something old and supernatural/unnatural. He's got a lot of scars that're usually covered by illusions, most of them dating back to the Estraneo; there's likely one around his implant eye judging by the flashback, and others associated with the experimentation. His barcode tattoo (like the ones Ken and Chi have) is on his right shoulder in back. There's also some weird tattoos that look like black circuitry lines on his inner forearms and a few other places; they're what spreads across his body more when he's in Path of Humans. He's also got a few scars from the fight with Spade, and from the Estraneo's water-tank rig and how long he was in it, adding a few more puncture scars to some of his old "repeated needles" scars. He's got a long-dead ICD (Internal Cardiac Defibrillator) dating back to his childhood and the Estraneo not wanting to take too many chances; it's a few years ahead of the tech of the time when it was made, but medical science in the rest of the world caught up, making it "familiar but it shouldn't be that old" to a normal doctor, and the internal battery ran out LONG ago, so now it's basically a funny bump under his collarbone on the left side.
(Currently in Maison) FUUUUUUCK. See here; the lantern broke and barfed all over the house and he got to be one of the ones permanently changed by it - all his paths are now louder and have accompanying physical changes. He's also got scars on the palm of his left hand from grabbing Spikey-chan by the scruff, because Path of Humans logic is amazing and it was the fastest way to stop the porcupine thing from attacking Chrome without hurting it. I actually had to roll to make sure he didn't end up with some of the spines going all the way through his hand.
16. Biggest and smallest short term goal? Currently in Maison, is biggest short term goal is basically "THE FUCK IS GOING ON"; also figuring out what to do with the seed he's been carrying around, and out-stubborning the Phantasms. His smallest is probably going to involve poking at/being curious and entertained by reactions from certain people around him.
17. Biggest and smallest long term goal? Back home, his biggest long term goal is shanking anyone that's abusing power, particularly if they're breaking/destroying people or making weapons out of them as part of it, but generally anybody in that broad category. Nothing big. Smallest long term goal in canon is getting Ken to bathe regularly. In Maison, his biggest long term goal is "how do I help fix this place", nothing big. His smallest long term goal is...
Getting Ken to bathe regularly.
18. Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress ...Well, as much as he's a little eccentric, he's definitely got a decent vanity streak and apparently a uniform fetish that occasionally leans military. He doesn't have a lot in the way of rituals, really, although in Maison he's got the duster jacket Orion gave him that has been a symbiotic attachment.
19. Favorite beverage? Tea of some sort, usually black, herbal/fruit, or green. If he does pick up alcohol, probably some kinds of cocktails and wine.
20. What do they think about before falling asleep at night? Not a whole lot intentionally, though a little bit of sorting things mentally and meditating would be pretty typical, possibly straying into Path-leaks.
21. Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them? ....
Does getting killed and revived repeatedly as a tiny child while his Family worked on making him into a living weapon count? Also vivisection and other tampering without anesthetic! /cough.
Seriously though, he hasn't gotten seriously sick much, and it's usually been something he tries to cover or holes up somewhere with.
22. Turn-ons? Turn-offs? Turn offs: Being most of humanity outside of a very short list of people he's comfortable with and breathing. Seriously, for the most part, if you're not someone where there's signs he is comfortable with you, if he's making any kind of flirting comment, he's doing it to fuck with your head/because your reactions are funny and he's being an ass. Turn ons: ... I am not sure atm, let me get back to you on this one. Also he's 16 and has been celibate due to preoccupation, even with Path of Heaven.
23. Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? You know, even fairly bored, it's entirely possible nothing would happen. He's basically as likely to doe the mental standby/meditation as doodle.
24. How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life? He's very neat, but his organization is kind of non-Euclidian; he keeps track of things very well, but it's in relation to each other, not in terms of "I'm going to try to sort things".
25. Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all? He's picked up Buddhism and Buddhist philosophy from Italy while on the run; I'd say that's an accomplishment even if his adherence to the rules as written is ... weird. Other than that, it's basically whatever passes by that catches his interest.
26. How do they see themselves 5 years from today? He might not admit it depending on who he's talking to, but Tsuna, you kind of have a terrifying thing that likes it there that will be happily dismantling everything that's a problem to you/vaguely fits within your rubrick of "things to pursue as enemies" that happens to mostly match his, if less violently than his.
27. Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout? For all his hot air, not a whole lot beyond the general.
28. What is their biggest regret? By now/current point in Maison, Lancia's family; also about the only thing he'd actually call a regret, that and yanking Lancia around in general.
29. Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? ....Well, let's see. His People are His People; Chrome, Ken, Chikusa, Fran, and somehow M.M. and Spade have wormed into that as of current time in Maison. Tsuna has a special section as "he's not sure how to handle this but trusted authority/I follow this person" where "friend" isn't quite the word for it. Outside of that, in Maison, Shisui, and River.
His worst enemy is any of the Estraneo that might still be alive. (esp. since a specific one MIGHT be unaccounted for...)
30. Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?) Check that his people are out of it and that it's not going to spread. In Maison, he might actually go poking around doing damage control, back home it's more likely to be a little situational.
31. Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies) If it was because of something outside, whatever did it is likely to have a critical existence failure in the near future on principle; he's actually likely to try to do funeral rites himself and then be rattling around a bit wobbling in between "usual weird approach to death/etc., awareness that they're elsewhere and this is how things work and he's been through this himself", and upset/grieving/clawing walls a little/fussing more over the people that're still there.
32. Most prized possession? ... Of his canon possessions, the trident's about the only thing thing that's got any real importance. He's a bit attached to the charm that was dropped on him at christmas in Maison, and Orion's coat has special significance...
Also there's that seed that he's trying to figure out what to do with and how he could keep it safe after planting it.
33. Thoughts on material possessions in general? Nice when they're there, useful, not that important. (He's Zen Buddhist, what were you expecting?)
34. Concept of home and family? His people. That's about it.
35. Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?) On the one hand, he's got trust issues, and is likely to misrepresent his own thoughts and patterns depending on how much or how little he trusts you. On the other hand, if he can make a point and it doesn't seem like something that can be used against him, he doesn't entirely care.
36. What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? I don't really think "wasted time" is an idea in his vocabulary; if he's doing something useful, he's accomplishing something, if he's doing something he enjoys when there isn't something pressing, then he's comfortable and content, and if he doesn't have anything he can be doing, then there's nothing else to do but wait.
37. What makes them feel guilty? ... Guilt isn't something he doesn't do much of; he'll have some regrets of "That was probably something I shouldn't have done/something that made things worse", but it's not something he really spends much time or energy on.
38. Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making? Analytical, really; he'll factor emotions into things, but he tends to be going over "is this a valid/useful reaction or not" when he does.
39. Would they consider themselves a Type A or Type B personality? Doesn't really care.
40. What recharges them when they’re feeling drained? Someplace quiet, some sense of security; an even SHORTER list of people for the security thing.
41. Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither? Sort of a superiority complex; most humans are kind of stupid, and a lot of other beings too.
42. How misanthropic are they? ... HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. So, a bit over a year ago, he was trying to wipe out humanity. He's gotten better and isn't genocidal anymore! :D Now he mostly just thinks humans are stupid and even the ones with good intentions are prone to stupid shit that makes it impossible to trust them because they'll be TRYING to do the right thing but fuck you over anyway.
43. Hobbies? ..... Let me get back to you on this one.
44. How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education? He's never had formal education. Lancia taught him to read, there was some attempt at tutoring while he was there, otherwise he's basically been self-taught and doesn't really care.
45. Religion? He's Zen Buddhist, basically, with a weird relationship with the actual written rules. When you actively remember and are channeling from other realms related to a given worldview, that tends to influence beliefs.
46. Superstitions or views on the occult? It's there, it's a part of the world, humans are stupid and freak out about it way too much one way or the other.
47. Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds? His words are a mess of bullshit and half-truths where he's being intentionally misleading more often than not, although he's been less of a COMPLETE source of bullshit in Maison since he's cut back on some of his defense-mechanism asshattery. His actions will work towards his goals and tend to be more reliable, although even that can be "Depends on how much you're seeing of what he's doing".
48. If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal? ...uh. Strong enough attachment to someone that he actually trusts/feels comfortable with? I don't think there really IS an ideal here.
49. How do they express love? Working to make sure the other person's safe/happy; physical contact/affection gestures, though he's still getting used to having people close by other thank Ken and Chi on that one.
50. If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like? Ancient Fighting Honor Code Of I Am Standing/Breathing You Are Not. Abuse illusions/powers like a bitch, cheat whenever possible, and in Maison he has claws that're weaponizable in most Paths and a bit of an idea what tender bits are good targets.
51. Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not? He'd be kind of put out b/c he has a lot he'd like to finish/do before he dies and is fairly content with things, but he's already done it enough times to lose count, so it's very "...oh. Tuesday" otherwise.
